Research Opportunities for Students

One of the major missions of the National Center for Research Resources, General Clinical Research Center programs is to maintain a portfolio of programs to enhance career development for students and junior faculty.

The GCRC serves as the institutional focus for training in:

  • clinical research and medical nutrition methodology

  • biostatistics

  • basic laboratory techniques
  • The GCRC grant supports:

  • medical and Dental students to participate in clinical research through the Office of Student Affairs

  • junior faculty to initiate pilot studies through the Clinical Research Feasibility Fund (CReFF)
