NUTRITION SERVICES

The bionutrition research services can provide the controlled dietary regimes for studies. A dietitian is available to work with investigators in meeting the often sophisticated nutritional requirements of research subjects that includes:

  • diet recalls

  • anthropometric measurements

  • calibrated and weighed diets
  • special diets

  • nutritional assessment
  • In addition, the metabolic kitchen staff prepares and serves all meals and snacks to subjects. This attention to detail facilitates patient compliance and retention, and the collection of accurate data. That attention has made our nutrition service a very valuable asset to our investigators
